Metrology

The Metrology department offers SANAS accredited calibrations in the following fields:

• Ionizing radiation

  Ambient dose equivalent, personal dose equivalent, exposure rate, ambient dose equivalent rate, 2π efficiency, surface activity response

• Temperature

  Thermocouples, platinum resistance thermometers, electrical simulation, cold junction compensation, environmental chambers and drying ovens, ovens, incubators, stirred water baths, fridges, freezers, furnaces, dry block calibrators

  On-site calibrations are available for all the items listed.

• Dimensional

  internal and external cylindrical standards, gauge blocks and accessories, external micrometers, electronic and vernier calipers

• Electrical

  DC low frequency: voltage, current and resistance
